Once you experience redemption and restoration through your faith in God, life takes on a new meaning. Free from addiction, heartache, pain, and disappointment, you can finally live the life that God intended for you. However, even in this newfound freedom, there is an ongoing battle that persists. Satan relentlessly tries to deter you from God's path, seeking to drag you back into the pits of despair. Today, I want to share my personal experience and shed light on the continuous struggle we face, and how relying on God can help us overcome these challenges.
When you surrender your life to Christ, a sense of liberation washes over you. Words fail to capture the profound peace that resides within when you align your life with God's will. Nevertheless, Satan continues to test and disrupt your journey, especially as you draw closer to God. It feels like one blow after another, aiming to disturb your peace. I can testify to the fact that I have recently faced numerous setbacks and challenges, as the devil has attempted to steal, kill, and destroy the progress I have made.
However, Ricky and I have discovered an incredible strength in dealing with life's disruptions. We have come to understand that placing our trust in the Lord and surrendering full control to Him, even when things don't go as we envisioned, never leads to failure. In the past few months, I prayed fervently for God to guide me to the right career path and align my life with His intended purpose. Yet, what I didn't anticipate was that God might abruptly close one door before opening another. Initially, panic, worry, and fear consumed me, but I soon realized that these emotions were not from God; they were Satan's deceptive tactics. In that fleeting moment, Satan thought he had me trapped. Little did he know that my faith had grown immensely, overpowering any fear or doubt he could insidiously place within me.
With God as our guide and by fully trusting in His plan, we find solace and reassurance. He never intended for us to struggle emotionally, mentally, physically, or financially. His desire has always been for us to place our complete trust in Him, allowing Him to carry our burdens. We can rest assured that He will make a way, open doors, and never fail us. What lies ahead for us is far more magnificent than anything we initially imagined or even asked for. Our God is the God of possibilities.
Satan cannot have a hold over us or our families. We have fought and clawed our way out of the depths of Hell, breaking free from addiction and the lies we once believed. Today and every day, we declare that Satan's power is nullified. When we surrender everything to God, He fights the never-ending battle against Satan on our behalf. We no longer have to exhaust ourselves in the fight; instead, we find strength in relinquishing control and trusting in His power.
In our journey of redemption and restoration, we must acknowledge that battles persist even after we find freedom in God. Satan continues to test our faith and disrupt our lives. However, by placing our trust in God's plan, we can overcome these challenges. His desire is for us to experience emotional, mental, physical, and financial well-being. Our God is the God of possibilities, and He will always provide a way. Let us stand firm, knowing that Satan's lies hold no power over us when we fully surrender to the loving guidance of our Heavenly Father.
